Guy Christiano is a musician, songwriter and singer based in Nashville. Finding inspiration from both guitar driven alt/indie rock and introspective songwriting, he creates music that conveys a familiar and timeless quality, that also sounds new and adventurous. His songs have been described as a blend of Tom Petty, Teenage Fanclub, Neil Young, Jason Isbel, and Matthew Sweet.
Lyrics explore themes of hope, perseverance, and acceptance in one's own individuality - including both strengths and shortcomings. He addresses modern day challenges of anxiety, isolation, and self-doubt - navigating a path forward through internal reflection, comforting relationships, and spirituality - expressed through the stream-of-consciousness freedom of a song.
He is working on a debut LP of 10 songs, recorded in Nashville at Ken Coomer's (Wilco, Uncle Tupelo) Paper Moon Studios and with Eric Fritsche and Jim Reilley (The New Dylans) at the Barn, due out in 2026. Live shows to follow. See you in 2026!
